Sapiens Qualia ("we", "us", "our") built the EcoVision app as a privacy-first, zero-telemetry utility. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not require account creation. We do not collect, store, or sell any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We use zero invasive tracking or analytics frameworks.

2. Camera & Image Processing

EcoVision requires camera access to analyze recyclable materials. Images taken within the app are transmitted securely to our cloud proxy and processed by third-party Vision AI models (e.g., Together.AI). Images are not saved on our servers and are discarded immediately after analysis. Your recent scan history is saved locally in your device's sandbox environment.

3. Location Data

EcoVision requires location permissions to map nearby recycling bins. Your GPS coordinates are used exclusively on your device to query public OpenStreetMap data. Your location is never tracked, stored on our servers, or shared with third-party advertisers.
